Project Manager (Ref. No.: HKRITA-PM-03/13)

Responsibilities

  • To supervise a team of project officers and monitor work of subordinates;
  • To vet the applications for funding of R&D projects;
  • To monitor on-going R&D projects, including technical and financial aspects and other project administrative tasks, prepare project updates and reports;
  • To work closely with R&D researchers and personnel; coordinate with local and overseas universities, research institutions and business partners, handle enquires in a professional manner;
  • To play a key role in R&D publicity events or programmes organized by HKRITA;
  • To perform R&D functions including, project design and solicitation, proposal writing, business plan development, IP and information management, etc.;
  • To prioritize tasks based on their functions and importance; and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A recognized degree, preferably in Textiles and Clothing;
  • At least 5 years’ relevant work experience, with experience in R&D, textile or fashion related industry being an advantage;
  • Highly-organized, capable of working under pressure with multi-task assignments;
  • Excellent interpersonal skill; and
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with good command of Putonghua being an asset.

Executive Officer (Administration) (Ref. No.: HKRITA-EO-05/13)

Responsibilities

  • To assist in reviewing and developing/ monitoring the implementation of policies and procedures on office administration;
  • To lead the Administration Section in the implementation of a full range of office administration functions, facilities and property management, office security, company insurance, office renovation and relocation, etc;
  • To be responsible for the preparation and control of office administration budget and prepare relevant reports for management review;
  • To devise, implement and co-ordinate with internal users for various administration projects; and to perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A recognized degree in Business Administration, Language or a related discipline;
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in administrative functions and company secretarial work, with experience in the government departments or public organizations being an advantage;
  • A good team player with a strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal and problem solving skills;
  • Be independent and able to work under pressure;
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing; and
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage.

Accounting Assistant (Ref. No.: HKRITA-ACA-01/13)

Responsibilities

  • To perform general accounting duties including handling of full set of accounts, receipts, payments and reimbursements independently;
  • To be familiar with computerized accounting software Peachtree;
  • To prepare financial statements, analysis and other management accounting reports;
  • To assist in implementation of the company’s financial policies and procedures;
  • To assist in the exercises of internal audit, annual statutory financial audit and other statutory & regulatory compliance tasks; and to perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting;
  • Passed the Foundation level of a recognized professional accounting examination, or equivalent qualification;
  • At least three years’ relevant experience in handling full set of books and preparing financial statements;
  • Extensive experience in using computerized accounting system, Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Good command of English and Chinese (Putonghua is a plus); and
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
