  HKRITA's Chairman Was Conferred Honorary Doctorates by PolyU

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University(PolyU), at its 18th Congregation, conferred Honorary Doctorates upon a small group of exceptionally distinguished individuals to recognise their achievements and contributions in the society. Among them were Prof Harry Lee, Chairman of The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel. He is conferred the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Business Administration.

Welcome on Board

HKRITA has three newly joined members.

Ms Edith Choi, Accounting Assistant, says “thanks Lord and my supervisor for giving me this chance to become a member in HKRITA. This is my first time working in the textile and apparel sector. Although I have only been on board for a very brief period of time, I believe I can work well with all colleagues".

Mr Dick Poon, Accountant, regards HKRITA as a systematic and dynamic organisation which has a good reputation in the industry. “I am glad to have the opportunity to serve this well-known R&D centre. I hope my working experience and skills are able to facilitate the daily operations and enhance the corporate governance of the centre. Also I am well prepared for any challenges in the future,” he says.

Mr Tony Leung, Business Development Manager , tells us that “it is an honour to be a member of HKRITA. This job gives me chances to work with experts in the field of textiles and clothing around the world. I hope I can apply my knowledge and experience to make a contribution to the Hong Kong's textile industry".
