Internship Programme to Nurture Talented Youth

Talent is one of the key elements when we talk of innovation development. To encourage young talents to make their contributions in the technology and innovative industry, HKRITA has joined the internship programme of the Innovation and Technology Scholarship Award Scheme and Excellence in Technology Innovation and Commercialisation Scholarship Award Scheme, providing on-the-job training to the undergraduates. Several students from various disciplines and different universities have joined HKRITA to work as interns during this summer.

Working in the R&D centre is new to the interns. One who is from the textiles and clothing discipline hopes that she may relate the knowledge from the textbook to her work. Another student, who is an environmentally conscious teen, tells us that she finds satisfaction in carrying out internet research regarding sustainable development of the textile industry.
