Welcome on Board

A number of new members have joined HKRITA.

Ms Tracy Au is excited to work for HKRITA. She told us that “the post Project Officer is an excellent match of my skills and interests. I hope that my experiences in the R&D and textiles fields enable me to be a productive member of our centre.”

Mr Eric Cheng, Project Manager, believes that one of the possibilities for the local textile and apparel industry to move ahead to sustainable development is to strengthen the research collaboration among universities, research institutes and the industry. He reveals, “I am excited and honoured to be a team member of HKRITA which acts as a focal point to foster R&D development in the textile and apparel industry. I hope I could contribute to this centre with my experience in the engineering field.”

Ms Amy Cheung, Executive Officer (Adm) likes her new job so much, and comments that “it is my pleasure to be given an opportunity to join this big family. I hope that I can use my skills acquired in the past to contribute to the continuing advancement of the HKRITA, and to optimise the efficiency of the supporting and management systems in administration.”

Dr Kin Ho, Project Assistant, declares “I would like to thank HKRITA for giving me an opportunity to work as a project assistant in the research and development team. It is a new field and a new challenge for me after my PhD studies in chemistry at the University of Hong Kong. I hope I could contribute more to the textile industry by using my chemical knowledge.”

Business Development Officer Ms Cathy Tsang, a familiar face taking on a new venture mentions, “I am glad to join HKRITA again! I will continue to assist the execution of corporate events and support the promotion of commercialised technologies. I look forward to seeing you at upcoming events.”

“Thank you HKRITA for offering me a challenge,” Ms Elaine Tsang, Accounting Assistant, says, “I am delighted to work with my new colleagues and the centre also helps me to learn more about office operations; this experience will definitely enhance my knowledge."
