With the development of the high performance sportswear design and engineering technology from the completed Platform Project “High Performance Sportswear and Devices” (ITP/014/08TP) and the support from the Marine Police, this project aims to engineer 370 sets of next-to-skin thermal protective garments (consisting of a long sleeve pullover and pants) for the Marine Police Officers on the boat duty under the chilly windy weather in winter. It is expected that the thermal protective garments will provide thermal comfort and quick dry to the Marine Police Officers under harsh weather conditions on the sea.
