Job Description

The appointee will be required to:

  • play a vital role to provide technical support to the Business Development team to optimize and commercialize developed systems to market;
  • be part of the task force including R&D teams to compile sales and commercial package for center-developed systems and innovations including system overview, technical manual, operation manual and related engineering materials;
  • identify and work with vendors on technical development and price negotiations for industrial scale equipment;
  • provide support on system optimization according to client’s production setup;
  • support other R&D projects including engineering planning, system design, data acquisition and reports preparation;
  • coordinate with business partners and other research institutions on system optimization and commercialization, and handle enquiries in a professional manner;
  • travel on an as-needed basis;
  • perform any other duties as assigned.


  • A recognized degree in a related discipline, master’s degree or above is a plus but not a must;
  • 5 or more years of research/ relevant work experience; preferably in commercial engineering environment and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC);
  • Strong business acumen; preferably with technical development and client facing experience;
  • Highly-organized and capable of working under pressure with multi-task assignments;
  • Good writing skill in English and Chinese;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with good command of Putonghua being an advantage; and
  • Applicants with less experience will be considered for the position of Engineer.
