HKRITA Signed Two Technology Licenses

HKRITA has licensed two of its R&D projects, “Thermal, Touch and Biomechanical Comfort of Bedding System” and the Green Machine, further promoting the R&D manufacturing and
      recycling of the industry.

Sun Sea Mattresses Manufacturing Company Limited, which owns the well-known
local bedding brand Sweetdream, acquired the technology license of
“Thermal, Touch and Biomechanical Comfort of Bedding System” this April.
This collaboration will enable the manufacturer to leverage the project
technology in product development, providing better and more comfortable
      products for the market.

Furthermore, the US-based textile recycler Looptworks has officially
      obtained the technology license of
Green Machine - Post-consumer Blended Textile Separation and Recycling
        by Hydrothermal Treatment and
Decolourisation of PET from Post-consumer Textile. Looptworks will integrate these technologies into its recycling
facilities, which marks a critical milestone in the Green Machine’s
journey towards industrial-scale deployment. Looking ahead, the Green
Machine 2.0 will soon commence operation in the Open Lab, further
supporting the industry to deal with the recycling of blended textiles.

The bedding system detects the level of comfort of sleepers, which
helps manufacturers utilise data in product development

Green Machine offers a promising solution for PET-cotton bleneded
          textiles recycling
