Job Description
Reporting to the Assistant Facilities Management Manager, the appointee will be required to:
- perform a full spectrum of administrative duties, handle incoming calls and enquires and provide instant solutions;
- provide support to facility management, such as conducting regular inspections and arranging routine maintenance for all facilities, handling hazardous waste disposal, maintaining records related to facility and equipment movement, etc.;
- monitor and evaluate the performance of external vendors to ensure that the deliverables meet the company’s standards and requirements;
- ensure that all facilities are in good order and comply with all related rules and regulations;
- assist in preparing documents for procurement of goods and services, negotiate with suppliers and recommend best offer in terms of quality, service and cost;
- provide support for training on safety and emergency response;
- maintain and update records for regular inspections and operational needs; and
- perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A recognised degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, Building Services, Engineering or a related discipline;
- At least three years’ relevant working experience; with experience in factory/ laboratory management being an advantage;
- Preferably have knowledge in 5S methodology, safety and health related ordinances and regulations and/or Use of Chemical and Dangerous goods;
- Detailed-minded, willing to learn and able to work independently;
- A good team player with a strong sense of responsibility as well as good interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage; and
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications, Visio and Chinese word processing
