Job Description

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the appointee will be required to:

  • perform all-round HR functions covering staff recruitment and orientation, compensation and benefits, performance management, staff discipline and grievances, and ad-hoc projects;
  • assist in the development, review and implementation of Staff Handbook, HR guidelines and operation manuals, so as to ensure the HR policies and procedures are compliance with the relevant ordinances;
  • plan, implement and monitor training and development programmes to ensure the staff performance are in line with the organisation’s objectives;
  • assist in manpower planning and prepare analytical reports for management review;
  • liaise with the insurance brokers, insurance companies and internal clients in the tendering exercises on the renewal of the HR-related insurances;
  • maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive HR management system to meet with organisational needs;
  • liaise with internal departments and external parties on HR issues, give advice and answer enquiries on HR matters;
  • handle and coordinate matters for the expatriate staff from Chinese Mainland and other foreign countries when necessary;
  • manage the expenditure budget and resources of the Human Resources Section; and
  • perform any other duties as assigned.  


Requirements

  • A recognized degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related discipline;
  • At least 5 or more years of solid experience in HR management;
  • Familiarity with HR management systems;
  • Possess good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills;
  • A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications; and
  • A good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage.
