Dr Harry LEE, SBS, JP
Managing Director
TAL Apparel Limited

Dr Lee joined Textile Alliance Limited (TAL) in Hong Kong in 1973. He is now Managing Director of TAL Apparel Limited, which currently employs over 20,000 employees.

Dr Lee is actively involved in a number of trade organisations in Hong Kong. He is the Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Garment Manufacturer's Association and Textile Council of Hong Kong Ltd.

Dr Lee was educated in both the United Kingdom and the United States of America. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Imperial College, London, UK and a Doctorate from Brown University, USA.

Dr Lee was named in the Queen's birthday honours list as an Officer of the British Empire (OBE) in 1996. He was appointed a Justice of Peace (JP) in 1997 and awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star (SBS) at the Fourth Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR in 2001.

Dr Lee was conferred the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Business Administration by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2012.

Key Executives

Mr Edwin Keh
Chief Executive Officer

Mr Keh has extensive experiences in senior management roles in procurement, consumer and retail industries. He was the SVP COO of Wal-Mart Global Procurement. Prior to that he was the Managing Director of Payless Shoesource International, Donna Karan International, and Country Road Australia.

He is a faculty member of the Operations and Information Management Department at the Wharton School, the University of Pennsylvania.

To recognise his contributions to the field of supply chain management, Mr Keh was the 2011 recipient of the Production and Operations Management Society's Excellence in Practice Award.

Mr Keh graduated from Whittier College with a BA in Political Science, Sociology, and Urban Design.

Dr Kai-Chiu Ho, PhD, MA, FHKITA, C.TEXT, FTI, SMCTES
Director, Research and Development

Dr Ho obtained his Associateship in textile technology in 1981. He then gained his Master of Arts degree, with distinction, in Clothing Merchandising in 2001 and the Doctor of Philosophy in 2005 from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). Dr Ho has more than 30 years work experience in the Hong Kong’s textiles and clothing industry and has been a part-time lecturer in textiles and clothing technologies for over 20 years. He is also a Chartered Textile Technologist and Fellow Member of the Textile Institute, a Fellow Member of Hong Kong Institute of Textile and Apparel, a Senior Member of China Textile Engineering Society, an Adjunct Associate Professor of Institute of Textiles and Clothing of PolyU, a Visiting Professor at both Donghua University and Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, as well as an Observer to Technical Committee (Textiles), ISO.

Mr Sun Tao, MSc, MBA
Director, Business Development

Mr Sun graduated from Jiangnan University with a Bachelor of Science in Cotton Spinning Engineering in 1983. He studied wool science at Massey University in New Zealand in 1997 and 1998, and obtained a Master of Science in Clothing and Textile Sciences at the University of Otago in New Zealand in 2001. He also obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wales, Newport of the UK. Mr Sun has had profound experience of management and marketing in the textiles and clothing industry. He worked as Product Development Manager in US company Burlington WorldWide and Nano-Tex, Sales and Marketing Director in a joint venture of US fiber company Unifi and China Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fiber Company. Before joining HKRITA, Mr Sun worked as Manager Asia Pacific at BASF East Asia Regional Headquarters.

Ms Pandora J M Chan, MA
Head, Corporate Services

Ms Chan graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Arts degree (first class honours) in Translation and Interpretation and then obtained her Master of Arts degree in Language and Law. Before joining HKRITA, Ms Chan has served in various public organisations, including the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation, Occupational Safety and Health Council, Hong Kong Sports Development Board, Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority and Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) where she was responsible for corporate administration, external relations and publicity.
