Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Business Development, the appointee will be required to:

  • be responsible for the full range of proactive public relations, marketing and communications globally for HKRITA, with focus in Mainland and Asia region;
  • perform marketing analysis and work across the organization closely to develop marketing strategies and communication plans aligning with corporate development direction;
  • devise and implement marketing and public relations programmes including local/mainland/international trade fairs, conferences and seminars, study missions, roadshows, etc., with the objective to gain significant market awareness, generate industrial leads and keep enhancing corporate branding and image;
  • promote HKRITA and target projects to global market, with focus in Mainland China, by different media channels and social media; explore more opportunities for competing HKRITA projects in different innovation competition platforms;
  • establish and maintain good relations with local/Mainland/overseas counterpart organizations, universities, research institutes, trade and industry associations;
  • maintain effective media relations; handle media enquiries and complaints; organize press interviews/briefings and conferences; prepare press releases and public speeches;
  • develop and maintain the corporate publication and multi-media;
  • develop the editorial direction, manage the production and quality of the corporate publications;
  • manage the administration and promotion of membership programmes; and
  • perform any other duties as assigned.  

Requirements

  • A recognized degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or a related discipline;
  • At least 8 years’ solid marketing, public relations and team-leading experience in sizable organizations, knowledge of website design and PR agency experience is a plus;
  • Result-oriented, creative, highly self-motivated with strategic and business mind setting are essential;
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills; and
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
