开发吸附和催化再生系统的可持续方法用于去除纺织品废水中的靛蓝染料

In this project, an integrative approach in which combined process of adsorption and ozonation are used for removing the indigo dye from textile wastewater and the regeneration of the adsorbent materials will be developed in this project. Series of novel alumina-based adsorbents and clay-based adsorbents as efficient dye adsorbent materials for indigo dye wastewater will be developed for adsorption process and regenerated by ozonation process. Upon the regeneration process, the adsorption capacity will be recovered. The synergistic effect of adsorption and ozonation benefit for the efficient dye removal from wastewater and the adsorbent regeneration in environmental friendly and cost effective way. This new integrative approach target to achieve chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal from indigo dye wastewater at least 95% and percentage of decolorization at least 95%.
