Job Description
The appointee(s) will be required to:
• Assist R&D researchers and personnel in carrying out experiments and development of prototypes;
• Operate laboratory equipment and/or analytical instrument;
• Conduct maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and/or analytical instrument;
• Monitor laboratory operations and housekeeping on a daily basis;
• Keep chemical and equipment inventories;
• Prepare and record reports for inspections and operational needs;
• Work closely with R&D researchers and personnel; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• A diploma or above in any discipline;
• Three or more years of relevant work experience, preferably with background knowledge of Textile or Engineering;
• Good interpersonal skills; and
• Highly-organized and capable of working under pressure with multi-task assignments.
Preference will be given to those applicants with Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker in Grade A or Grade B and/or possession of a Certificate of Competency for Boilers and Pressure Vessels Ordinance (Class III) or completion of Electric Boilers Safety course.
