Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Deputy Head of Commercial to lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for new products, services, or innovations. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between product development and market success, ensuring that offerings are positioned effectively, launched efficiently, and scaled sustainably.
- Commercial Strategy Development: Develop and implement commercialization strategies for new and existing products, aligning with business objectives and market opportunities;
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure cohesive and successful product launches;
- Market Analysis & Positioning: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform product positioning and pricing strategies;
- Go-to-Market Execution: Lead the planning and execution of go-to-market activities including launch plans, sales enablement, and promotional campaigns;
- Performance Monitoring: Define KPIs and success metrics; monitor post-launch performance and recommend adjustments to optimize market impact;
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate commercialisation plans and progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support;
- Innovation Pipeline Support: Provide input into the innovation pipeline by identifying market trends, customer needs, and commercialisation opportunities; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent preferred;
- A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in commercialisation, product management, or strategic marketing;
- Proven track record of successful product launches and market expansion;
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; and
- Experience in textile and apparel industry is a plus.
