Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the appointee will be required to:
- assist the Senior Marketing Manager in conceptualizing, curating content, planning, and managing impactful B2B & B2C events to achieve corporate objectives;
- curate event content throughout the full event/project lifecycle, from research and theming to messaging, detailed planning, execution, and impact measurement, to deliver exceptional outcomes;
- collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth event delivery, including encompassing design, logistics, vendor management, and onsite operations;
- partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated online and offline promotional campaigns that optimise event reach and deliver targeted project outcomes;
- manage delegation and guest visits—including venue decoration and setup, exhibit production and showcase, and souvenirs, to support local, mainland, and international affairs;
- plan and develop project sampling, prototypes, marketing collaterals, souvenirs and maintain its inventory;
- organise and maintain the Institute’s central filing system; and
- perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A recognised degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Event Management or a related discipline;
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience in event and marketing communications, preferably gained in public organisations or sizeable multinational corporations;
- Proven track record in curating event content and managing high-level, largescale & impactful events, professional and effective marketing materials development and event marketing and management;
- Proactive mindset to explore, learn and implement digital tools for event promotion, marketing applications and performance reporting;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communications skills; good business sense to understand holistic corporate objectives and partnerships;
- Attention to details with ability to work independently under tight schedule and work overseas;
- High Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Chinese word processing and website management software;
- A good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage; and
- Overseas travel is required.
