Development of Durable Adult Bibs for Healthcare

The proposed project aims to develop textile materials that are suitable for making up adult bibs under a very high temperature washing repeatedly which is commonly occurred in nursing homes and hospitals. Nowadays, all current adult bibs only last for fifty machine washings and become many riffles on the surface and are very coarse upon repeatedly high temperature laundry. This project uses the start-of-the-art textiles and finishing technologies to develop a textile material which will not change the appearance and the hand feel upon more than fifty high temperature laundries. It is beneficial to all patients lived in nursing homes and hospitals and provides eco-environment.
